You Are My World

The sun shone brightly on the roof tops of a small town. A girl was walking down the side walk, hand in hand with her boyfriend. They talked and laughed together, and cuddled each other as they walked towards the girl's house. Though there was one question that the girl longed to ask of her beloved, and she debated on whether or not to ask him.

When they came to the drive way of her house, the girl stopped and turned to her boyfriend. "Do you really love me?" she asked.

"Yes," he answered smiling and squeezing her hand.

"Prove it. Shout to the world that you love me." She waved her hand in the air, motioning to the sky.

The boy leaned forward so his face was next to her ear. "I love you." He whispered.

The girl leaned back. "Why'd you whisper it to me?" She asked confused.

"Because you are my world." He answered simply.

The girl smiled and wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him. He returned both gestures.

When they parted, the girl told him she loved him too, and went inside. She went to her front window and watched as he blew her a kiss and walked towards his own home.
